JOHANNESBURG - A police escort in Estcourt has got some officers in hot water.
Police chief Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi has ordered that they be removed from operations pending an investigation.
The officers were transporting a colleague's child to a matric dance in a state vehicle.
The video has gone viral on social media.
Mkhwanazi says officers neglected their responsibilities when providing the blue light parade.
He says the use of state resources for personal gain will not be tolerated.
