JOHANNESBURG - Ekurhuleni mayor Nkosindiphile Xhakaza and members of the mayoral committee,
have handed over stock to Vosloorus spaza shop owner Mazwi Kubheka.
Kubheka drew the public attention after he went missing in earlier this year, and was later found alive.

It's alleged he was kidnapped by local business rivals, sparking protests by the community for his safe return.
His experience bought to light the vulnerability of spaza shop owners amid calls by some, for the sector to be reserved for South Africans.
