JOHANNESBURG - Advocate Menzi Simelane has taken a stand regarding his 2009 appointment.
He told panelists at the National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP) interviews he will not allow comments on findings in a judgment against him.
The Constitutional Court confirmed that the former NPA head's appointment was irrational, because adverse findings about his honesty and integrity were ignored.

Despite the damning ruling against him, Simelane argues that this matter has still not been concluded.
He is one of six candidates vying to replace the outgoing Shamila Batohi.
