PRETORIA - Discrepancies in the testimony of Accused 1 have again come under scrutiny in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial.
The state again questioned Muzi Sibiya about his alleged assault by police.
Sibiya claims he was beaten and suffocated on 30 May 2020, the same day police say he confessed to Meyiwa's murder.
But he was unable to recall how exactly the beatings occurred and how long they lasted.
Sibiya will be back in the hot seat on Thursday to face more questions from the state.
