PRETORIA - The Senzo Meyiwa murder trial has been adjourned again.
This follows a request by defence Advocate Charles Mnisi, who says he's been psychologically affected by allegations linking members of the defence to a plot to eliminate key role players in the case, including investigators and prosecutors.
Mnisi told the court he had been advised not to proceed until the investigation into these allegations is finalised.
The court, however, ruled that the matter must continue, noting that adequate security measures are now in place.
Mnisi has requested time to seek medical consultation, claiming he is not mentally fit to continue with proceedings.
