Burke is allegedly a beneficiary of Kastelo and is no longer a part of Parliament’s Finance Committee and Finance Cluster while the Reserve Bank inquiry is underway.

MK Party Sifiso Mahlangu called for accountability, especially in the DA.

"The DA cannot continue preaching accountability while its own senior leaders stand accused of conduct that demands serious scrutiny. For a party that has built its politics on moral grandstanding, the DA must now explain whether accountability applies to everyone, including its own," Mahlangu said.
