MK Party wants Madlanga Commission halted

JOHANNESBURG - The MK Party and its leader, Jacob Zuma, are heading to the High Court in Pretoria.

It wants to stop the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry from continuing.

The party is approaching the High Court after the Constitutional Court denied it direct access.

It's challenging how President Ramaphosa handled Police Minister Senzo Mchunu.

He was placed on special leave after KZN Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi's allegations.

The party claims the President acted in bad faith, was biased, and violated the Constitution.

It wants the inquiry halted until the court rules on its challenge.
