CAPE TOWN - The Parliamentary Ad Hoc Committee’s inquiry into alleged corruption and political interference in the criminal justice system gets underway on Tuesday morning.
First up is KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, whose explosive July media briefing exposed alleged ties between senior police officials and criminal syndicates.
The Parliamentary hearings will run concurrently with the Madlanga Commission, where Mkhwanazi has already testified.
National Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola will be the second witness later this week.
