CAPE TOWN - With matric results being released next week, some higher education institutions say they're already bursting at the seams with applications.
The University of the Western Cape has received over 170,000 applications for a little over 4,000 first-year places.
Universities in the province say no late applications or walk-ins will be accepted.
Those who have not been offered places at universities are urged to look at other post-metric opportunities.
