PIETERMARITZBURG - The inquest into the death of anti-apartheid activist and human rights lawyer Griffiths Mxenge is resuming.
Proceedings at the High Court in Pietermaritzburg were halted due to the absence of key witnesses.

There was also a request that SAPS pay for the legal representation for apartheid cops.
Mxenge was brutally murdered in 1981 by members of the Vlakplaas unit.
