JOHANNESBURG - Across South Africa, women are taking a stand against gender-based violence.
They are staging a shutdown by staying home, avoiding spending, and wearing black.
Led by Women For Change, the movement is demanding that GBV be declared a national disaster.
The campaign is expected to bring the country to a standstill.
