JOHANNESBURG - It's a mix of nerves and excitement as millions of children head back to school.
For about a million of them, today will be the first day of a long educational journey.
Basic Education Minister Siviwe Gwarube will be in the North West to welcome some of them.
She will visit teachers and pupils at the Tshenolo Primary School in Brits.
The Minister will also check on the readiness of the school feeding scheme.
Education MEC Viola Motsumi will join the minister.
