JOHANNESBURG - The net is closing in on Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala's businesses and associates.
The alleged Big 5 cartel member who is central to allegations being probed at the Madlanga Commission and SAPS ad hoc committee remains behind bars.
Matlala is facing attempted murder charges for allegedly ordering a hit on his ex-girlfriend.

However, much of the focus around him has been on his government contracts, links to an alleged criminal syndicate, top cops and politicians.
However, eNCA sources have confirmed that police pounced on one of his associates on Sunday and took her to a police station for a statement.
