PRETORIA - New ministers and deputies were sworn into the national executive on Wednesday afternoon.
On Tuesday night, President Cyril Ramaphosa announced changes to his cabinet.
The restructure follows requests from the Democratic Alliance to change its representatives in the Government of National Unity.
Justice Nonkosi Mhlantla administered the swearing-in of the new ministers and deputies at the Union Buildings.
Those sworn in include Dina Pule and David Maynier as ministers and John Steenhuisen, Jack Bloom and Yusuf Cassim as deputy ministers.
Pule, former Communications Minister, who was fired in 2013 as a minister, returns to the cabinet as Minister of Social Development.
