No parole for Najwa Petersen

CAPE TOWN - Najwa Petersen's parole has once again been suspended.

The Correctional Services Department says the parole board has recommended further intervention programmes within a set timeframe.

Last year, Minister Pieter Groenewald put the brakes on her release after representation from family members who were unhappy with the decision.

Petersen was sentenced to 28 years in prison in 2009 for her role in the 2006 murder of her husband, musician Taliep Petersen.
