NPA re-enrols Gupta-linked Nulane corruption case

JOHANNESBURG - The National Prosecuting Authority’s (NPA) Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC) has re-enrolled the Nulane corruption case.

It has been re-enrolled in the Bloemfontein Magistrates’ Court.

The re-enrolment follows a Supreme Court of Appeal (SCA) ruling in June 2025 that favoured the state and reinstated the matter.

Efforts by the accused to have the Constitutional Court overturn the SCA’s decision were unsuccessful, with the court dismissing their application.

As a result, the case is set to proceed through the judicial process.

During the latest court appearance, all accused persons were present after being served with summonses.

The matter was postponed to 22 September 2026 to allow for the disclosure of the docket.
