MAHIKENG - The North West Moral Regeneration Movement is calling on police to put permanent structures in place to deal with illegal mining.
The movement is calling on police to go after the kingpins and not just miners.
Senior police officials are visiting the North West and holding community imbizos in Mahikeng and Rustenburg.

Illegal mining remains a thorn in the side of North West residents.
Authorities say they're cracking down on those responsible.
