Officials to assess Eastern Cape flood relief efforts

MTHATHA - High-level government officials will visit the Eastern Cape to assess ongoing relief efforts following devastating floods.

Search teams are still trying to find the dozens still missing, an act many families are desperately clinging to for closure.

On Saturday, the Giwu family buried a mother and son.

Gloria and Kwanele were among the 92 people killed as heavy storms swept through Mthatha.
