CAPE TOWN - Parliament's SAPS ad hoc committee will meet on Wednesday to deliberate on its draft preliminary report.
It comes after months of testimony from senior police officials, intelligence figures and civil society organisations.
The committee is investigating explosive claims made by KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi of political interference and corruption within the criminal justice system.
It has until 16 July to deliver its findings to Parliament.
Once completed, the final report will be tabled in the National Assembly for further deliberation.
