JOHANNESBURG - Patrick Dlamini has been reinstated as chief executive of the Public Investment Corporation (PIC).
The Gauteng High Court has ruled that his suspension was unlawful.
Dlamini was placed on precautionary suspension last month while the PIC board investigated whistleblower allegations of impropriety.

The court found the board's decision did not meet the legal requirements for suspension.
The ruling marks the latest development in the leadership dispute at the state asset manager, which oversees more than three trillion rand in retirement fund investments.
