PIETERMARITZBURG - Residents of Pietermaritzburg vow to continue protesting until government acts on their demands.
They want mass deportations of undocumented migrants and tighter border controls.
The residents claim 75 percent of spaza shops are run by undocumented immigrants,
competing with locals for resources.
Critics warn this could fuel xenophobia.
This is the latest in a series of protests that started in Durban in March.
