JOHANNESBURG - A close associate of alleged underworld figure Vusumuzi 'Cat' Matlala, has been taken in for questioning by the Political Killings Task Team (PKTT).
eNCA has been reliably informed that the person of interest, was taken in for questioning in relation to Matlala's lease agreement in Waterkloof.
The man's Pretoria East residence was raided on Thursday morning by members of the PKTT. He was later released.
It is believed he allegedly forged bank statements for Matlala to secure his R95,000 lease agreement. Matlala allegedly applied for the lease agreement using his eSwatini identity document.
