CAPE TOWN – Western Cape police have launched a manhunt after 13 people were killed in separate incidents in the province.
In the first incident, three men aged between 20 and 24 were shot and killed inside an informal dwelling in Makhaza on Sunday. Family members reportedly heard gunshots and found the victims with gunshot wounds inside the structure.
On Monday morning, three adult males in their thirties were shot at a shebeen in Endlovini. All three succumbed to their injuries at a local clinic.
No arrests have been made yet in connection to both incidents.
Meanwhile, seven other people were also killed in separate incidents in the province over the weekend.
A team of experienced detectives attached to the Serious and Violent Crimes Unit have been tasked to investigate the murders.
