Political killings task team | Arrest made in Xolani Ndlovu-Ntombela murder case

HOWICK - The KwaZulu-Natal Political Killings Task Team has charged two suspects with the murder of Xolani Ndlovu-Ntombela. 

They're appearing in the Howick magistrate's court.

He was killed at his home in Mpophomeni in November 2022.

It's believed he was targeted for exposing the illegal sale of land in the Emasosheni area.

The suspects, aged 55 and 23, were already in custody.

One of the suspects was applying for bail while the other is awaiting trial for another case of murder.

The pair have been charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder and possession of unlicensed firearms. 

KZN police say this case is among the 121 dockets recently returned to the Task Team.
