JOHANNESBURG - Former ANC national spokesperson, Pule Mabe, and six co-accused are back in court on charges of fraud, money laundering, and contravening the Public Finance Management Act.
The case stems from a R27-million tender awarded in 2017 to Mabe’s company, Enviro Mobi.
This was over a contract to supply 200 three-wheeler motorbikes to the City of Ekurhuleni.
The state alleges Mabe secured the contract under fraudulent circumstances while still serving as a Member of Parliament.
