DURBAN – Police have made a major drug bust at the Durban harbour.
R13 million worth of cocaine was discovered hidden inside a bus that was shipped from South America. Thirty-two cocaine blocks were found hidden inside the bus’s air conditioning unit.
It is believed the drugs were destined for Gauteng. Police are now searching for those behind the shipment and the intended recipients.
About R13-million in cocaine has been seized at the Durban Harbour overnight.

The Durban Operational Response Services and serious organised crime units carried out the operation. They were following up on intelligence from a Gauteng drug bust that found drugs are entering through the KwaZulu-Natal port.
