PRETORIA - The High Court in Pretoria has cleared the way for a long-delayed racketeering trial. It's linked to controversial pastor Shepherd Bushiri and his church network.
Zambian businessman Willah Joseph Mudolo, his wife, their company, and several co-accused are now set to go on trial.
They're facing charges of fraud, money laundering and racketeering tied to an alleged R102- million scheme.
The court has dismissed multiple attempts to block the case. The National Prosecuting Authority has accused the group of using delay tactics to stall proceedings.
