GENEVA - President Cyril Ramaphosa has arrived in Switzerland for a two-day state visit.
The visit will include official talks, the signing of cultural and peace agreements and the receipt of heritage artefacts from the Nkuna royal family.
The visit follows agreements reached in Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia, including establishing free trade agreements to diversify markets.

Expert on international relations, Dr Oscar van Heerden says this visit is important for South Africa to be able to expand its trade and to go on other parts of the world to look for markets and new agreements.
"When the number one and largest economy of the world is weaponising trade, slapping you with 30 percent tariffs, dictates how to do trade and who to have relations with, this is the kind of strategy needed to ," he says.
