JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa is in the DRC for a high-level African Union solidarity mission.
It's aimed at strengthening the continent's response to the ongoing Ebola outbreak.
Ramaphosa is visiting as the AU's Champion for Pandemic Preparedness.
He's expected to meet President Felix Tshisekedi.
They will discuss how to bolster regional cooperation, cross-border readiness and outbreak containment.
It comes as the DRC reports over 1,300 cases and nearly 400 deaths.
