JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa has slammed the DA, saying he will not respond to threats and ultimatums.
Ramaphosa says he exercised his constitutional prerogative and responsibility when he fired Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Andrew Whitfield.

He says Whitfield did not get the required permission to travel to the US with a delegation from the DA.
Meanwhile, some political analysts say the worst thing the DA can do right now, is to walk away from the GNU.
