JOHANNESBURG - Bulk water supplier Rand Water says there is no need to panic about its extensive infrastructure maintenance resuming on Thursday.
The utility says this is necessary to preserve the integrity of the infrastructure and reduce costs.
It's budgeted R393-million for maintenance in its current financial year.

It's advised municipalities to inform their customers about contingency plans.
Authorities say there will be no water or low pressure for a few days after the maintenance is complete.
