PRETORIA - President Cyril Ramaphosa and Defence Minister Angie Motshekga are meeting SADC leaders in Zimbabwe to discuss the DRC conflict.
They are expected to look at the role of the SADC intervention force in the region.
Thirteen SANDF soldiers have been killed in the past week in the DRC.
Meanwhile, Deputy Defence Minister Bantu Holomisa says South Africa is preparing to repatriate the fallen soldiers.
He also gave an update on the ceasefire in Congo, saying there haven't been any other incidents.
"We have not had any new reports that our soldiers are under fire," he said.
