CAPE TOWN - Parliament's SAPS Ad Hoc Committee investigating serious allegations made by KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, is meeting on Wednesday to plot the way forward.
Oral hearings concluded last week, with Mkhwanazi taking the stand as the last witness.
About eight months ago, Mkhwanazi made several allegations that high-ranking police officers, members of the judiciary, and former Police Minister Senzo Mchunu, interfered with SAPS investigations, to protect criminal syndicates.
On Wednesday, the committee will discuss housekeeping matters, including correspondence and determining the next steps for the inquiry.
