CAPE TOWN - MPs will get their chance to grill suspended Deputy National Commissioner for Crime Detection, Shadrack Sibiya.
Sibiya will make his second appearance before the Ad Hoc Committee investigating corruption and interference in the criminal justice system.
On Monday, he denied knowing alleged underworld boss Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala beyond his contractual work at SAPS.

He also told the committee that Brown Mogotsi warned him about people who wanted to chase him out of the police.
Sibiya also dismissed suggestions that the PKTT was dissolved to derail cases linked to drug cartels in Gauteng.
He said accusations that he stalled investigations are misleading and unfair.
