JOHANNESBURG - The Inkatha Freedom Party says President Cyril Ramaphosa made the right decision by establishing a commission of inquiry.
The President placed Police Minister Senzo Mchunu on leave of absence following KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi's revelations.
Ramaphosa said the minister will comply with the law as investigations take place.
"We believe that the president has acted in a responsible manner in this regard so that we can get to the bottom of these allegations," said IFP spokesperson Mkhuleko Hlengwa.
