JOHANNESBURG - A group of eight school girls will appear in court on assault charges.
They were caught on camera beating up a Bedfordview High pupil.

The girls are believed to be from her school, Queens and Athlone High.
The mother says she was surprised as the girls are friends with her daughter.
It comes after a 15-year-old KwaZulu-Natal pupil required surgery after being assaulted at school.
