JOHANNESBURG - The seven school pupils allegedly involved in a bullying incident involving girls from four Johannesburg schools could end up in a diversion programme.
That’s as the mother of the victim has to deal with a potentially suicidal child following the attack.
It follows a viral video of the girls assaulting a fellow pupil earlier this month.
The minors were taken in for questioning on Friday after the girl’s family went to the police.
The lawyer representing the seven minors in the court’s preliminary inquiry into the matter has confirmed a request for a diversion programme for the group.
The matter has been postponed to Wednesday.
