JOHANNESBURG - Police have arrested a second suspect in connection with the killing of DJ Warras.
The 25-year-old Mozambican national was taken into custody last night during a crime-intelligence-led operation in the Marathon informal settlement in Ekurhuleni.
The arrest was carried out by the Gauteng Serious and Violent Crimes Investigations Unit, working alongside Crime Intelligence and Ekurhuleni Metro Police.
The suspect is expected to appear in court on Monday, facing charges of murder and contravention of the Immigration Act.
Meanwhile, the first suspect in the case, Victor Mthethowakhe Majola, was denied bail on the 26th of January and is due back in court on the 11th of February.
Police say investigations into the murder of DJ Warras are continuing.
