Senzo Meyiwa murder trial resumes

PRETORIA - After nearly four months of delays, the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial is set to resume.

Lead investigator Bongani Gininda returns to the witness stand for cross-examination.

Proceedings were stalled after Advocate Charles Mnisi requested multiple postponements.

He took over the defence of Muzi Sibiya after his lawyer died.

Mnisi says he’s ready to proceed.

Gininda is the state’s final witness.

He alleges all five accused were involved in a contract killing of the Bafana Bafana star.
