CAPE TOWN – Six men and a woman are expected to appear in the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court on Monday in connection with disrupting long-distance buses across three provinces.
The seven were arrested at the weekend in a coordinated operation across Cape Town, Matatiele and Mbombela.
The arrests follow a multidisciplinary coordinated investigation across three provinces, spanning over seven years.
The seven aged between 35 and 65 will face 124 charges involving extortion, intimidation and protection money.
