JOHANNESBURG - Seven Kenyan nationals have been busted for allegedly violating immigration laws.
On Tuesday, police and Home Affairs officials swooped on Kenyan nationals suspected of working illegally while on tourist visas.
The operation followed intelligence reports indicating that the suspects had taken up employment at a centre processing refugee applications to the United States.
This was despite Home Affairs having declined their applications to perform the work.
They have now been prohibited from entering South Africa for five years.
