JOHANNESBURG - Shadrack Sibiya has resigned from the South African Police Service with immediate effect.
Police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said the suspended Deputy National Commissioner tendered his resignation after the disciplinary proceedings against him commenced.
According to Mathe, the resignation was handed in by Sibiya’s legal representative.
