JOHANNESBURG - South African Global Sumud Flotilla detainees to be released on Tuesday.
The Department of International Relations and Cooperation says the South Africans will be repatriated from Israel via Jordan.
"The Department of International Relations and Cooperation has been formally notified by the Israeli authorities regarding the status of the South African citizens who participated in the recent Global Flotilla initiative," DIRCO said in a statement.
“We have received confirmation that the individuals in question are scheduled to be released from detention and will be repatriated, departing via Jordan tomorrow morning.”

Among the captives are Mandla Mandela, the grandson of former President Nelson Mandela, writer Zukiswa Wanner, and activist Reaaz Moolla.
They were aboard a vessel when it was intercepted in international waters by the Israeli Defence Force last Thursday.
