JOHANNESBURG - A teacher accused of raping a Grade 4 pupil at Busisiwe Primary School in Soweto has handed himself over to police.
He is expected to appear in the Protea Magistrate’s Court.
Gauteng education officials visited the school as angry parents protested outside, demanding the teacher’s removal.
The teacher has since been placed on precautionary suspension.
