Spike in GBV expected over festive season

JOHANNESBURG - The 1000 Women Trust has received multiple calls from GBV victims since the launch of its Beyond 16 Days initiative.

It seeks to hold the government, judiciary and police accountable.

The Trust wants to see effective collaboration among government departments, social workers, police and the courts, in support of GBV survivors.
