DURBAN - The state wants the Ndimande brothers, Siyabonga and Malusi, to stand trial alongside five other co-accused in the murders of rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.
The duo made their first appearance before the Durban Magistrate's Court on Tuesday following their extradition from Eswatini.

They face charges of murder of AKA and Tibz, who were gunned down outside a popular Durban restaurant on 10 February 2023.
The trial of the five men - Lindokuhle Thabani Mkhwanazi, 30, Lindani Zenzele Ndimande, 35, Siyanda Eddie Myeza, 21, Mziwethemba Harvey Gwabeni, 36, and Lindokuhle Lindo Ndimande, 29 - is expected to begin in July 2026.
The case of the Ndimande brothers was therefore postponed to 25 November.
