JOHANNESBURG – A day before he was due to resume his testimony before the Madlanga Commission, North-West businessman Suleiman Carrim, has been rushed to hospital with a suspected heart attack.
It is understood the incident happened at Golds Gym in Sandton where staff raised the alarm and called paramedics.
An impeccable source told eNCA the businessman has now been transported to a Johannesburg private hospital.

At this stage there are no further details on his condition and authorities have not yet released any information.
Carrim testified at the Madlanga last month.
He was expected to resume his testimony before the commission on Thursday, 16 April.
