JOHANNESBURG - A manhunt is under way for suspected cash-in-transit robbery suspects after police recovered firearms and a hijacked vehicle in Daveyton on the East Rand.
Gauteng SAPS, EMPD and intelligence teams, raided a suspected safe house on Wednesday night.
Police recovered seven rifles, one pistol, reflector jackets and a hijacked BMW X5 during the operation.
Authorities say the suspects are linked to a number of serious and violent crimes across the province and managed to evade arrest during the raid.
