PRETORIA - More evidence of tensions between the police and Hawks has emerged at the Madlanga Commission.
It's probing political interference and corruption in police work.
It's heard from three Hawks officers, including Gauteng Head, Ebrahim Kadwa.
He testified how members almost came to blows during the 'KT' Molefe takedown operation in December.
Kadwa admits there are swelling tensions between the Hawks and SAPS.
Commission chairperson Mbuyiseli Madlanga says it would be ideal to now summon former Hawks head, Godfrey Lebeya, who made a call for the Hawks units to be deployed to Molefe's house.
The commission resumes on Wednesday.
