ESHOWE - Discount retailer Boxer has confirmed the deadly shooting of three of its employees at its Eshowe store in KwaZulu-Natal.
In a statement, Boxer said the employees were murdered on 10 October in what it called a ‘horrific act of violence’.
“Today, Boxer teams across the country observed a moment of remembrance before beginning their shifts, standing together in honour of our fallen colleagues,” the statement read in part.
CCTV footage of the incident has since circulated widely on social media.
The footage appears to show a man dressed in black clothing speaking to three employees inside an office before pulling out a gun and opening fire.

The store has offered its condolences to employees' families.
“We remember three valued members of our Boxer family whose lives were tragically cut short. They will not be forgotten.”
